There's nothing whatsoever to suggest that Josh is Trumper. If you search for him and Trump there's nothing at all coming from him. Trump said that he's a fan of Josh, but that means nothing from Josh's perspective. You'd think that if he were a "hardcore MAGA Republican" that there'd at least be something pointing toward that like with Mason Randolph or Nick Bosa. Come on people, you can't jump on others for buying into bullshit and then do the same thing just because someone said it while not providing any evidence to support it.

^this.
Quick search, where's the evidence?
Worst I could find was Steinfeld liking a pro-Harris post, then later unliking it.

Apparently Allen is a hardcore MAGA Republican so....good luck to Hailee I guess. Assuming she doesnt already share his politics and just stays quiet about it.

I said that because I found this. And this. Him deleting it and most of his socials doesn't bode well. I just thought it's a pretty good assumption that someone who speaks like this wouldn't be a liberal. Especially the part about baby Hitler in 2016.

Yeah, I think it's better when someone's crush isn't on display for the whole world to see, let the dude live.
And while I hope Steinfeld shares my values, she's a celebrity, not someone I look to for guidance, that way badness lies...

So he made questionably tweets 10 years ago so that makes him a Trumper?
Did we learn nothing from the James Gunn incident?

Gross.
Then again, I was also an edgy dumbass when I was a teen into early 20s. (Though I knew better than to drop n-bombs).

I mean, I'm hesitant about giving him the benefit of the doubt for saying nigga and the f word and considering that the most recent of this "questionable" tweets were from 2016. He would have been 20 then and should have had more sense not to be tweeting about that.(I certainly never did anything like this)I just couldn't help but notice he only addressed this when his money was on the line and not out of a genuine desire to apologize. But who knows maybe he's changed now.

I mean that is fair. But it is hard to infer his current politics from old tweets.
Now if he has said any of those in the last 3 or so years I would be side eyeing him more.
But it's also something to remember that most people are idiots in their 20s.
When I was in my '20s I argued against same-sex marriage, and I'm a queer person!

Wow. Okay, you convinced me. I'll hope for the best that he's a better person now. Although I'm still skeptical. 2016 is still pretty recent imo.

Being skeptical is very fair But even 2016 is 8 years ago.
If he said something actively in support of Trump or his policies even them then absolutely get on them.
But until then I'll just assume he was a stupid teenager/20-year-old thinking that posting edgy shit was the height of comedy.

User Warned: Attempted Thread Derail
Hailee has taken photos with the IOF amongst other things on her trip to Israel, which was very disappointing to read about after I saw the film.
Oscar-nominated actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld visits Israel
Hailee Steinfeld was spotted at a popular Jerusalem restaurant in the Machaneh Yehuda market with Transformers director Michael Bay and Israeli singer and television personality, Noa Kirel.
www.jpost.com
"The Steinfeld group's visit was coordinated by Traci Szymanski, in partnership with CharityBids. The trip was made possible by philanthropist and media mogul Haim Saban, and is one of several celebrity trips to Israel that will take place during the coming year."
Haim Saban - Wikipedia
en.wikipedia.org
"Saban, a long-time supporter and donor of many Jewish and pro-Israel causes, has stated his main goal in multiple interviews: "I'm a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel."[30][6]
Saban became involved in politics in the mid-1990s when he felt that support for Israel was slipping in the United States.[8] He says his views have shifted over the years:[1]
"I used to be a real leftist. I remember Arik Sharon [the leader of Israel's right-wing Likud Party] coming here, to my house, a few months before Camp David, when he was still leader of the opposition. He told me there would be no deal because [Yassir] Arafat would not sign. I told myself that there was nothing to be done—these right-wingers were simply insane. I had no doubt that there would be a deal and the problems would be resolved. History proved that Sharon was right and I was wrong. In matters relating to security, that moved me to the right. Very far to the right…When there is a terrorist attack, I am [Avigdor] Lieberman. Sometimes to the right of Lieberman. For two days I really love Lieberman. But afterward I come back to reality. Look, I don't see a solution today.[1]"
Saban has been a consistent donor to the United States Democratic Party according to his mandatory Federal Election Commission filings. Mother Jones, in an analysis of the major donors to the campaigns of 1998 election cycle, ranked Saban 155th among individual donors.[31] Amy Paris noted that Saban's Clinton-era "generosity did not go unrewarded. During the Clinton administration, the entertainment executive served on the President's Export Council, advising the White House on trade issues."[31] The New York Times reported that Haim and his wife "slept in the White House several times during President Clinton's two terms." Saban remains close friends with the former president. Clinton described Saban as a "very good friend and supporter."[8] Saban contributed between $5 million to $10 million to the William J. Clinton Foundation.[32]"
