10 Craft Ideas to do with Kirby Coloring Pages

Kirby is a big favorite of kids everywhere, and this adorable character stars in new games all the time.

Here are some great craft ideas for those coloring pages featuring Kirby.

1. Put Kirby in Dreamland

To create hilarious wall art, have each child draw the Dream Land tree, with eyes, nose, and mouth, and then color in the scenery behind it.

Next, when the youngsters have colored Kirby and cut him out of the page, they should glue a layer of cotton balls to the back side of the cutout.

This can then be glued onto the poster board in front of the tree, making it appear as if Kirby is floating into the tree’s open mouth!

2. Kirby Holds the Pen

For this cute craft, give the child one small, ordinary cardboard box and four tiny ones, about the size of ring boxes.

Once Kirby is colored, he should be cut out and affixed to the larger box.

The smaller ones should be laminated with pink construction paper and glued on at funny angles as arms and legs to create an abstract Kirby.

Place a tiny hole in one of the small boxes in which to place a pen. It will look as if Kirby is about to write something!

3. Make a Kirby Kite

Using a simple template, have the youngsters make a basic kite. Next, they should trace, color, and cut out a large star from yellow paper.

Then, when Kirby is colored and cut out, he should be attached to the star with krazy glue, and the ensemble glued to the kite’s center.

Yellow and pink streamers should be tied around the base, and craft string should be added to fly this cute Kirby kite.

4. Kirby Themed Birthday Invitations

If your youngster is inviting some children over for a Kirby-themed birthday party, he or she can have fun making homemade invitations.

Start with pink stock paper, and print the date and time at the bottom. Color and cut out Kirby and place him at the center of the page.

Using a waterproof magic marker, create a dialogue bubble going to Kirby’s mouth that says, “You’re Invited!”

The background can be embellished with stickers, glitter, or freehand art for adorable invitations.

5. Kirby the Waiter

For this comical craft, Kirby should be colored, cut from the page, and laminated onto a small, ordinary cardboard box, with his face taking up the front square.

Arms made from black pipe cleaners should then be attached to the sides and bent upwards as if Kirby is reaching for something.

A circle should be cut at the top of the box in which to place a can or cup. The end result will look like Kirby is a waiter delivering a soda.

6. Make a Kirby Snack Bowl

Kirby loves snacks almost as much as kids do, so why not make a unique snack bowl?

Kirby is the perfect shape for this craft, and when he’s colored and cut out, he should be sealed in glassine.

The sealed cutout can then be krazy-glued to the bottom of an ordinary plastic bowl, or alternatively, attached face up to the underside of a clear bowl.

Either way, the bowl should be coated with acrylic spray to be used for dry snacks during a video game session!

7. Put Kirby in a Hammock

Everybody knows that Kirby loves naps, so let the youngsters have fun putting Kirby in a hammock.

To start this craft, let each child draw a hammock on a poster board or piece of construction paper.

Next, pieces of yarn can be glued to the sketch to give it that 3D look. This doesn’t have to be perfect!

When Kirby is colored, he should be cut out and moved to the center of the hammock on top of a layer of cotton balls for a great 3D poster.

8. An Original Kirby Game

Since Kirby is that loveable, round ball with feet, he’s perfect for this fun craft-turned game.

The child should color a full-sized Kirby and then cut a medium-sized hole in its center.

Kirby can then be cut from the coloring page and glued to a long craft stick.

Using high bouncers, or even just foil balls, one youngster can hold the Kirby-on-a-stick while the other tries to toss the ball through the opening!

9. Swinging on a Star

Since Kirby has been known to ride on stars and travel through the sky, he’s ideal for this craft.

From yellow construction paper, have the youngster cut out two stars and set them aside. After Kirby is colored and cut out, he should be glued vertically between the two stars.

From the bottom star, a yellow streamer should be attached, and a hole punched in the top star.

Embroidery thread or yarn can then be threaded through the hole to create an adorable hanging ornament.

10.Kirby in the Forgotten Land

For this engaging craft, have your youngster draw the “Forgotten Land” on a piece of white poster board. It can be embellished with stickers, glitter, and puffy paint.

Next, Kirby should be colored and carefully cut from the page and added to the scene.

To give him that three-dimensional look, a layer of cotton batting or cotton balls can be placed between him and the poster.

The artwork can be left as is, or sealed in glassine and framed!
