A wave of demonstrations is expected to sweep across the UK following the shocking Southport stabbings, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer announcing a bold "national" strategy to tackle the continuing violent unrest. This includes better coordinating police efforts to create a united front against the shocking scenes of unrest that has injured scores of police officers and seen more than 100 people arrested.
An investigation has revealed plans for over 15 demonstrations across the nation, as details emerge on social media platforms showcasing calls to action - some emblazoned with England flags and fervent slogans such as "enough is enough", "save our kids", and demands to "stop the boats".
According to PA, these protests are set to strike Southport itself, Leeds, and Bristol. After hundreds of violent protesters were arrested on Wednesday, the investigation revealed another 15 events planned in the coming days, as well as two counter protests to oppose the brick-throwing far right instigators.

17-year-old Axel Rudakubana was hauled before Liverpool Crown Court, facing grim charges in the aftermath of a Taylor Swift-themed dance class bloodbath. Ordered into youth detention custody, his next court appearance is slated for October, leaving communities to pick up the pieces after the rampage that tore through a Hart Street dance studio in Southport shortly before the midday on Monday - triggering violent disorder in the town on Tusday, which then spread to other towns and cities.
Thousands flocked to a vigil in Southport on Tuesday evening, honouring the victims of a recent tragedy. However, chaos ensued outside a local mosque, resulting in injuries to 53 police officers and three police dogs.
On Wednesday night, over 100 protesters were apprehended on Whitehall amidst a hailstorm of bottles and cans thrown at the police. Violence also erupted in Hartlepool, County Durham. Cleveland Police have reported 12 arrests so far, including an 11 year old boy suspected of setting a police vehicle on fire.
In Manchester, police had to intervene in a protest outside the Holiday Inn on Oldham Road, dispersing the crowd after beer bottles were hurled at officers and bystanders.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer addressed the nation on Thursday, denouncing "far-right hatred" following the Southport stabbings and announcing a new "national" strategy to combat violent disorder.
"The far right are showing who they are we have to show who we are in response to that," declared Sir Keir.
The new "national capability" will involve sharing intelligence, wider deployment of facial recognition technology and criminal behaviour orders to restrict the movement of those involved, according to Sir Keir.
The Prime Minister also issued a warning to social media companies following the spread of misinformation about the identity of the 17 year old suspect, including false claims that he was an asylum seeker.
The press conference came hot on the heels of an emergency meeting at Downing Street, where top police officials from Scotland Yard, Merseyside, and West Yorkshire were called in for urgent discussions with the Prime Minister and his cabinet after a spate of violent incidents.
He lashed out at a "gang of thugs" who wreaked havoc in Southport with riots following an initial assault, lamenting that the local community has been victimised twice over.
Reform UK's Nigel Farage faced backlash for uploading a video on social media post-Southport stabbings, suggesting that the "truth was being held" about the assailant's identity was being withheld from the public.
After promulgating some of the fears and rumours connected to Tuesday's riot, on Thursday night Clacton MP Nigel Farage warned: "We need tougher prison sentences for anybody carrying a knife. We need folks to get real.
"Because I'll tell you what, what you've seen on the streets of Hartlepool, of London, of Southport, is nothing to what could happen over the course of the next few weeks."
