My wife turned me onto the tune and I loved it. I knew I had to record it. So, my Myrna and I flew to Nashville to record it with a top studio pianist in Nashville; a friend I've known since we were in the Navy Bands together in the '60's, the legendary studio pianist, Ron Oates. My wife and I arrived in Nashville, got together at Ron's home, learned the song, called the studio and booked the time, went in and cut the song all that same day. What you hear is exactly as we recorded it live on that day in 2002. Thanks to my wife for keeping me in the loop for new music, and to Ron for being the finest pianist I know. - Dan
Recorded at Sound Emporium in Nashville in April, 2002. Ron Oates, piano; Dan Jacobs, flugelhorn
